Ranked 10th on the SOBA Leading Dressage Sires list of more than 1200 stallions in 1997. Winner of numerous AHSA and USDF Awards from 1st Level through the F.E.I. Levels. L.A. Baltic Sun is the sire of 3 of approved SWB stallions, L.A. BALTIC INSPIRATION (Prix St. Georges dressage horse, Grand Prix jumper, and Res. Grand Ch, Dressage at Devon, 1998), LA BALTIC SUNDANCE (4th Level dressage horse), and L.A. BALTIC SUNRISE (3rd Level dressage horse adn Res. Ch. Mature Horse Dressage at Devon, 1996). Premium A mare. Daughter of Utrillo, ranked #1 on the BLUP index as a sire of jumpers, #8 as a sire of conformation horses, and in the top 10 sires of dressage horses. Ten years after his death he still ranked 10th as a sire of jumpers. Sire of 1978 & 79 Swedish Dressage Ch., ELYMUS. His sons MARATHON, and CHAGALL ranked 10th and 11th as sires of dressage horses, and FALSTAFF ranked 7th as a sire of conformation horses. Her second dam, Hetty is by DRABANT (dam sire of World Cup Qualifier and NGL Horse of the Year, FLIRTATIOUS).

PERFORMANCE RECORD:
1998-99: L.A. Baltic Inspiration is living a double career both as a dressage horse and as a jumper. Afer winning the 1998 USDF All Breed Horse of the Year award at 4th Level, he began showing at Prix St. Georges in 1999. At the same time he made his debut into Grand Prix Jumpers placing 2nd in the $25,000 Meridian Health Systems GP and 3rd in the $35,000 Spillers Seminole GP. In 1999 he won the Gamblers Choice at Devon, as well as the Hunter Farms Jumper Derby. Champion Stallion, Champion Mature Horse and Reserve Champion at Dressage at Devon, 1998.
1997: Champion of the Eastern IJF while also placing 4th in the USDF All Breed Awards at 2nd Level dressage.
1996: Champion of the Eastern Regional IJF and at the same time was Reserve Champion of the US Dressage Breeders Futurity as well as placing in the USDF All Breed Awards at both Training and First Level Dressage.
1995: Highest scoring stallion to be approved by the SWB commission.
1993: Champion Colt of Dressage At Devon and won the American Breeder's Award as the horse best representing the ideals of sport horse breeding in the United States.
SIRE RECORD:
